People decide to explore tattoo removal for many different reasons. Regretting a youthful decision, new career aspirations, or even a relationship gone sour, to name a few. The Spectrum Multi-platform Laser at Learn2Renew in Charlotte NC offers a specialized tattoo removal hand piece utilizing Q-Switched Yag / KTP technology. The Spectrum is a dual wavelength tattoo removal laser  which enables us to treat more color pigments in less time compared to lasers that use a single wavelength. The laser targets the tattoo pigment and breaks it down into much smaller particles which are then removed by the body’s immune cells. The average laser removal treatment takes between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the size and location of the tattoo.

Patients compare the sensation of laser tattoo treatment to the feeling of a snap of a small rubber band. We understand comfort is important and we do offer topical and injectable lidocaine numbing for our patients as well as Nitronox (laughing gas) to alleviate discomfort and anxiety.
